	Here are the current versions of the GPS2PDA software. Sign up for the mailing list (on the Contact Us page) and we will contact you any time the software is updated.

	GPS2PDA Install one of these versions on your PDA to see how the software looks and works. The software defaults to a demo mode, which is the full version of the software, except no data is stored in the PDA. You can verify that the software works with your GPS receiver. You need a serial number from Jamar to turn this version into a fully functional version.


	GPS2PDA - Palm OS 4.x - Version 1.3.4 (709K) This is the full install program to copy the GPS2PDA program and required files to your Palm OS version 4.x based PDA.

	GPS2PDA - Palm OS 5 - Version 1.3.4 (725K) This is the full install program to copy the GPS2PDA program and required files to your Palm OS version 5.x based PDA.


	GPS2PDA -- Version 1.3.4 Update Only (249K) This is the update for the GPS2PDA program. Download and install this if you already have GPS2PDA installed on your Palm PDA. This file will work with both OS 4 and OS 5 systems..


	Palm OS Conduit Files (883k) These files are needed to install the software that is used to modify your Hotsync program to transfer the data from the Palm PDA to your desktop. The documentation for these programs is in the GPS2PDA manual.


	GPS2PDA - PocketPC - Version 1.3.4 (658k) This is the install program to copy the GPS2PDA program and required files to your PocketPC OS based PDA.


	GPS2PDA -- Pocket-PC - Version 1.3.4 Update Only (116K) This is the update for the GPS2PDA program. Download and install this if you already have GPS2PDA installed on your Pocket-PC PDA.


	Garmin-SetSentences Utility (277k): This program is used to limit the output of selected Garmin GPS receivers so that GPS2PDA users, especially Palm OS users, can use the Garmin receiver to collect travel time data. Includes the program and low-resolution version of the documentation.


	Holux-SetSentences Utility (291k): This program is used to limit the output of selected Holux GPS receivers so that GPS2PDA users, especially Palm OS users, can use the Holux receiver to collect travel time data. Includes the program and low-resolution version of the documentation.


	Holux-ViewGPS Utility for Pocket-PC (1.2Meg): This utility lets you view the data received from any GPS receiver (not just Holux) on your Pocket-PC PDA. It also is useful for finding the comm port to use for your Compact Flash based GPS receiver.


	GPS2LT Download the install files from here and then contact Jamar to get a serial number to install and run the software. You need the full install set to initally install the program and supporting files. From then on you can install updates by downloading just the update file


	GPS2LT - Ver 1.4.6 - Full Install Set (4.6 Megs)


	GPS2LT - Ver 1.4.7 - Update (30k) (Only download this if you have version 1.2.x or later installed on your computer. )




	GPS2MDB This utility takes the data collected in the field by GPS2PDA or GPS2LT and exports the data to a standard Microsoft Access database file. You can then import it into your own GIS system to see the data on a streetmap of your area.

		GPS2MP This utility takes the data collected in the field by GPS2PDA or GPS2LT and displays the data on a map. This utility works with Microsoft MapPoint software only and assumes you have MapPoint installed on your computer.

	Documentation

	These documents are in PDF format, which means you need Acrobat Reader to view or print them. If you don’t have Acrobat Reader, you can download it for free at www.adobe.com. Some documents have two versions, a high resolution version and a low resolution version. The high resolution versions have better images, but are much bigger files. If you have a decent internet connection (or lots of time on your hands) then select the high resolution option.

Tutorial 10: Introduction to GPS2PDA
(this download is a .zip file that contains 5 pdf files. You need a program like WinZip (www.winzip.com) to unzip it.)

This is a tutorial to show you the basics of the program. It starts with a simple introduction to GPS receivers and which receivers are appropriate to use with GPS2PDA. It includes details on installing the software on a Palm OS PDA or a Pocket PC PDA, shows how the software works using many screen shots from the software, and finally shows how the travel time data collected in the PDA is transferred to PC-Travel for processing and analysis. Also included is the documenation for the utilities Garmin-SetSentences and Holux-SetSentences which are used to set the output sentences of GPS receivers to work better with GPS2PDA. This document is part of the PC-Travel for Windows manual and assumes you are familiar with that program.

Tutorial 11: Introduction to GPS2LT (377K)
This tutorial starts with a simple introduction to GPS receivers and which receivers are appropriate to use with GPS2LT. It then shows you how to install the software on your laptop, how to run the program to collect travel time data in the field, and finally shows how the travel time data collected in the laptop is processed in PC-Travel for Windows.. This document is part of the PC-Travel for Windows manual and assumes you are familiar with that program.
