The Tungsten E is the low cost model in the Palm Tungsten series. It is a very nice, basic PDA that would run GPS2PDA very nicely, except it has one fatal flaw.
It doesn’t have a serial port to connect to a GPS receiver. It only comes with a USB port to connect to an office computer (to Hotsync the data), and that won’t work with the serial based GPS receivers.
It does have an SDIO slot for peripherals and extra memory cards, but we don’t know of any SDIO based serial port adapters (if you are a real fanatic about PDAs then you might be
able to use a Bluetooth SD card and then get a Bluetooth based GPS receiver, but this may be more work than it is worth).
As tempting as it is, think twice before you buy this PDA.
